Well, I have been doing research and had found out some interesting information.

When OoT was announced, then released, a year later, MM was announced. Then when MM was released, a year later WW was announced. When WW was released, a year later TP was announced. Now that TP is released, where is our new announcement for another Zelda game?

TP was released in 2006, now it would have been too soon talking about another Zelda at E3 in 2007. So what about E3 in 2008. There has been talk that another Zelda for the Wii will be out within a couple of years. They already are a year in the making of another Zelda game. So why not tell us for sure what they are doing. Everyone wants to see it happen.

They probably are trying to not repeat their mistake with TP, where they released information long before they were ready to release the game, so when the game did not come out right away, everyone was angry with Nintendo. So this time, I think they will wait until later, so that they are nearly finished when the hype starts, so that they can get the game out before any stones start flying. Also, a lot of video game companies are not on good terms with the people that sponsor E3 right now, including Nintendo, so that might be another reason that showing a Zelda game there might be delayed. I also think that the next Zelda game might tie together the ongoing plot some more, which might make the producers hesitant to release too much information. This is all speculation, though, so we will see.
